Father John Misty Teams with Adam Green for Glorious “Total Entertainment Forever” Video

This might just be the best thing we’ve ever seen. Father John Misty teamed up with Adam Green’s art collective Four Gods and A Baby for his new video for “Total Entertainment Forever”. The track is off FJM’s new album Pure Comedy, out now on Sub Pop. You can watch the video below.

Adam Green takes the colorful, subversive, papier-mâché world he created for his version of Aladdin and applies it to Father John Misty’s “Total Entertainment Forever.” It finds Macaulay Culkin in a VR game cast as Kurt Cobain and Father John Misty as some sinister character with hooks for hands. Har Mar Superstar and Tei Shi also makes a guest appearances, as well as Green’s daughter Zeba.

Father John Misty is heading out on tour with Adam Green opening the dates at Brooklyn Steel. You can find FJM’s schedule below.
