FILM: Gotta Light?
With the two-part finale of Twin Peaks: The Return looming, Metrograph has put together a program of some of David Lynch’s more “out there” productions combined with films that complement and inform his work. Included in the series are Eraserhead, Twin Peaks: Walk with Me, Andrei Tarkovsky’s The Stalker, 2001: A Space Odyssey and more. The series runs through September 3.

FILM: Look Now: The Universe According to Nicolas Roeg
The Quad pays homage to cinematographer-turned-director Nicolas Roeg with this week-long series that includes The Man Who Fell to Earth, Performance, Don’t Look Now, Bad Timing: A Sensual Obsession and more. Series runs through September 7.

FILM: Tribeca Drive In Dinner and a Movie on Oculus Plaza
Westfield World Trade Center and Tribeca have been hosting a series of drive-in dinner and movie events all summer. This weekend come by the Oculus for screenings of Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Sept 1) and Enchanted (Sept 2). Both screenings also feature a special musical guest and food and drink will be available for purchase.

FIREWORKS: Friday Night Fireworks
It’s the last weekly fireworks display of the season in Coney Island. For best viewing, head to boardwalk or beach between West 10th Street and West 15th Street.
COMEDY: The George Lucas Talk Show
Connor Ratliff (The Chris Gethard Show, The President Show) channels the Star Wars filmmaker for his monthly long-running show that features special guests and plenty of laughs.

FOOD: Hester Street Fair’s Lobster & Beer
Beer, local vendors and lobster are the stars of this event that went so swimmingly Memorial Day weekend they are bringing it back to help close out the summer.

ART: 4Heads Governors Island Art Fair
This annual community-minded art fair takes over abandoned military barracks on Governors Island and fills them with painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video, and sound art. New this year, the fest expands to Liggett Hall. Open every weekend through October 1.
FILM: Summer Double Features: Jean-Luc Godard
Catch a double feature of Godard classics A Woman is a Woman and Pierrot Le Fou. Both find the filmmaker working with actors Anna Karina and Jean-Paul Belmondo.

FESTIVAL: Caribbean Carnival
Costume bands, masqueraders, moko jumbos, and more bring the caribbean spirit to the streets of Crown Heights.
