It’s that time of year when everyone has shopping on the brain. If you still have some gifts to grab, or better yet, want to treat yourself, below is a list of pop-ups, markets, and other holiday fare that we think should be on your radar. Hester Street Fair Holiday Market
Hester Street Fair wants you to shop local this holiday season at their pop-up market in the Seaport District. Among the indie designers, artists, and entrepreneurs representing including Art Adorned, Descendant Cider, Echoview, Elements Truffle, Elifish Designs, Jodi Segal, The Bacon Jams, Lebenskuenstler, and The Swellife.

Thrive Global Pop-up Store
Arianna Huffington’s latest endeavor, Thrive Global is hosting a holiday season pop-up to further the website’s mission to enhance well-being and performance. Stop by for a respite from shopping for demonstrations and trials geared towards the mind, body, sleep, productivity, recharging, creativity and giving.

Holiday shopping NYC 2016Domino Magazine Holiday Pop Up
The home decor experts Domino are presenting a pop-up featuring gifts inspired the magazine’s winter issue. In addition to items for purchase there are workshops on wreath making, screen printing, food decorating with Chef Camille Becerra, and more, advance registration recommended.

Tula House at Patagonia
Interested in giving the gift of green this holiday season? Then head to Patagonia Soho to check out the plant selection at the Tula House pop-up. Tula House is the effort of a group of horticulturists, designers, and plant enthusiasts who enjoy celebrating the wonders of the natural world. In addition to shopping for greenery at the Tula House pop-up, visitors can learn about compost from the folks at BK ROT, and indulge in sustainably roasted coffee from Ground Support.

David Zwirner Books Holiday Pop-Up Bookstore
David Zwirner, the contemporary art gallery that is home to such artists as Yayoi Kusama, Jordan Wolfson, and Raymond Pettibon, is reprising its holiday pop-up bookstore this month. Happening next to their 20th Street location, the shop will have selection of recent publications, posters, zines, and more in the $5-$120 range available for purchase. Also, there will be works by Yutaka Sone on view.

Wired Store NY
A gadget-lovers paradise is popping up at Brookfield Place this holiday season. This Wired-hosted store will feature gifts for those hard to shop for, including senz°’s original one storm umbrella, a slow coffee maker, a Markforged Onyx One 3D Printer, and more.

Holiday shopping NYC 2016The Run Up
Browse the wares of over 40 emerging brands at The Run Up, a Fancy.com-hosted holiday pop-up shop and live performance space in the Meatpacking District. Shoppers will find an Apple Pay and Square gifting suite, Tesla test drives, an on-site coffee bar hosted by Califia Farms, liquor tastings by Concha y Toro, 1800 Tequila and Grand Marnier, and a performance area built by Guitar Center with evening performances. Vendors include Drifter, Oxosi, IF & Co., Moscow Copper Co., The Fragrance Group, Audeze, and many more.

Roberta’s Holiday Market
Roberta’s is hosting another holiday market at their Bushwick restaurant. Running three days, the fete takes place in a garden tent and features over 30 local vendors and artisans. On Sunday, Ivy Meissner, Oceanator, I Am The Third, Giggly Boys, and Teen Body are stopping by to perform starting at 2pm.

BUST Magazine is back with another edition of its annual holiday orgy of handcrafted wares and artisanal culinary delights. This year, the two-day shopping extravaganza returns to the spacious Brooklyn Expo Center in Greenpoint and features some of Brooklyn’s best indie makers. In addition to picking up one-of-kind items, other enticements include a floss gloss nail art booth, DIY flower crowns, DJs, goodie bags for early risers, an ugly sweater selfie photo booth, and more. A definite highlight of the winter shopping season, this year’s affair is sponsored by Green Mountain Energy and urban stems.
