Huichica East Kicks off Tomorrow, Set Times & Our Unofficial Playlist

Music-loving New Yorkers have no shortage of music festivals to choose from this weekend. There’s the Roots Picnic in Bryant Park which features The Roots, John Mayer, D’Angelo, Wu-Tang Clan and David Byrne. Over in Queens, you’ve got The Meadows Music & Arts Festival with acts like Kanye West, J. Cole, The Weeknd and Chance the Rapper. In Central Park, there’s the French import Vieilles Charrues. And then, there’s a much smaller and less publicized fest upstate that we wrote about a few weeks back called Huichica East. Taking place on a farm in the Hudson Valley, Huichica’s lineup includes Bill Callahan, Phosphorescent, Vetiver, Woods, Entrance and more.

If you like your music festivals nestled in the middle of pastures, crop land, woods and waterways, with farm-raised foods, ultra-premium wines and chill vibes, then Huichica East is right for you. Ahead of its kick off tomorrow, the (((folkYEAH!))) and Gundlach Bundschu Winery-produced festival has shared the band set times, which you can find below. Tickets and additional information about the two-day event can be found here (for discount tickets use promo code “ENTRANCE” at checkout).

Also, to get you hyped for the sounds to expect at this serene wilderness adventure of a festival, we’ve put together a playlist. You can listen to it below.
