We hope you haven’t made your Valentine’s Day plans yet, because Panache Booking and Jonathan Toubin’s New York Night Train have just announced an event that is certain to hit any indie music lover’s sweet spot. For the fourth year in a row, these two wonderful entities are teaming up for their Village of Love concert/dance benefit for Planned Parenthood of NYC. In addition to Jonathan Toubin on the decks, this year’s party features performances by Mac DeMarco, Kevin Morby, Cassie Ramone, Marlon Williams, and more. The event takes place 2/14 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, and tickets, which are $20, go on sale tomorrow (January 20) at noon EST. See flyer below.

BUST Magazine, who signed on last year, will once again be a partner on the event which finds 100% of the proceeds going to Planned Parenthood of NYC. In addition to the performances and dance floor vibes, previous year’s festivities have included a dating game and a raffle with gifts from independent businesses in Brooklyn.

Many of the musicians involved in the do-go affair have been in the news of late. Mac DeMarco, who made headlines with his review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, just recently completed a string of gigs in Australia and New Zealand, and is set to embark on a US and festival tour starting in May (see dates below). Kevin Morby just announced a new album, Singing Saw. It will be out on 4/15 via Dead Oceans. And, New Zealand crooner Marlon Williams,  who is also on Dead Oceans, is set to release his self-titled debut on the label 2/19. You can check out previews of both projects below. Other acts set to perform include Boss Hog, Kid Congo, Delicate Steve, Joseph D’Agostino (Cymbals Eat Guitars), Saint Rich, Juan Wauters, Mutual Benefit, Laura Gibson, Mark Eitzel, The Mystery Lights and No Eagles.
