For those who can’t get enough of Kevin Morby, here’s one more thing to savor: his Tiny Desk Concert. The series finds the folk rock idol and his splendid band (Meg Duffy – guitar, Cyrus Gengras – bass, and Justin Sullivan – drums) performing three songs off his latest release Singing Saw. You can check out the performance below, which was filmed at the desk of All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen. It includes strip downed versions of “Cut Me Down”, “Dorothy”, “I Have Been To The Mountain”.

After Singing Saw’s release on Dead Oceans in April, Morby hit the road, first touring Europe and then the US. He’s been finishing off the summer playing mostly festival gigs in the US and beyond. Last week, he performed at Woodsist Fest, which went down at Point Reyes. This weekend he plays two sets at Pickathon, Thursday night for early arrivers and Friday afternoon, before heading to San Francisco to play Outside Lands on Saturday.
