Eric André is just dominating the news cycle. Today, he pretty much confirmed that he’s Blarf, the mysterious musical artist he’s been promoting on his social media. Eric posted a photo on Instagram with the caption that the guy in the photo is Blarf. The image is of Eric dressed up as Ronald McDonald from an infamous bit he did for The Eric Andre Show. Additionally, Eric shared the title of Blarf’s album, Cease & Desist, and the tracklist. Stones Throw is releasing the LP on June 26. Eric also announced the lineup for Blarf’s record release show on July 6 in Los Angeles. Cease & Desist can be pre-ordered on vinyl now and tickets for the show at the Lodge Room are still available.

As for the story behind Eric’s Big Mac adventures, the bit where Eric dressed up as Ronald and terrorized workers and patrons at a McDonald’s never actually aired on The Eric Andre Show. The Cartoon Network put the kibosh on the spot because they had business dealings with the fast food giant. However, Conan O’Brien had no problem with airing the prank on his show. Eric was Conan’s guest and during their time together, Conan whipped out the gem for all to see. It’s now up Youtube. You can check it out below.

The tracklist for Blarf’s Cease & Desist is pretty hilarious. It includes songs “Badass Bullshit Benjamin Buttons Butthole Assassin”, “The Me In Me”, and an over 12-minute ditty, “I Worship Satan”.

The lineup for the show at the Lodge Room on July 6 is also looking pretty juicy. Scheduled to perform is, of course, Blarf, as well as JD Beck & Domi, Peanut Butter Wolf, J Rocc, DJ Douggpound, Gary Wilson & The Blind Dates, Prophet and CX Kidtronik. Tickets are available here.
