After playing Budweiser Made in America and getting naked at Meltasia this weekend, Fat White Family have added one last stateside show before heading back to Europe. Lias and crew will be playing a midnight set at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn tomorrow, Tuesday, September 6. Tickets are on sale now.

The members of Fat White Family have been keeping busy since the release of their second album Songs For Our Mothers in January. The group have been out touring the last few months, including stops at Field Day in England, Best Kept Secret in the Netherlands, Splendour in the Grass in Australia, and Leeds Festival, among others. They also found time to go into the studio to record a new single, “Breaking Into Aldi”. The tune, which can be found below, features Cole Alexander (Black Lips), Zumi Roscow (K Holes) and Sean Lennon. It was recorded in the Catskills and at Trash Mouth Studios in London and produced by Sean Lennon, and Liam May, along with the Saoudi brothers. Co-written by Lias, Sean Lennon and Cole Alexander, the song is an anthem for a post-Brexit UK.

The show at Saint Vitus will be Fat White Family’s last New York area gig for a while. The group head back to Europe to play a few more dates, but are slowing things down considerably so they can go into the studio to record their third album. Also of note, FWF bandmates Lias and Saul have also been devoting time to The Moonlandingz. The musical side project, which finds them teaming up with Eccentronic Research Council, opened for Iggy Pop at SXSW in March. The group are embarking on an Ultimate Realism tour this fall, and according to social media, have shot a new video.
