Watch Jeff Tweedy and His Sons Perform “Evergreen” from Their Bathroom on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

With wife Susie behind the camera, Jeff Tweedy and his sons Spencer and Sammy performed “Evergreen” ‘Live from the Lavatory’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier tonight. You can check out the video below. Seeing Jeff and his family in their home is nothing new to fans of The Tweedy Show. Since Thursday, March 19th, the clan has been going on Instagram Live every evening at 10:30pm ET/9:30pm CT/7:30pm PT 10pm ET/9pm CT/7pm PT (new time as of April 6) to play songs, answer questions, and just hang out.

Tonight’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! marked the show’s return to television amid the coronavirus lockdown. The episode, which was produced remotely, featured a mix of recently taped segments along with interviews and bits from the archives. Other guests on the show this week include Samuel L. Jackson, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jennifer Aniston, and Sean Paul.

Before Jeff and his sons launched into song, Jimmy explained that Wilco was scheduled to be on the show during their 2020 Ode to Joy North American tour. The coronavirus put a wrench in all those plans. Instead, we find Jeff playing a song off his solo album Warmer, which came out last year.

As for The Tweedy Show, you can read more about the series here. In the past few days, Jeff and his family have sent healing vibes to John Prine, covered the Mekons and Big Star, and chatted with Fred Armisen, John Hodgman, and Nick Offerman and his wife Megan Mullally. Also, Jeff recently took his beard down at the request of his wife Susie. He looks 10 years younger.
