Kirin J Callinan Shares “Seconds Flatt” Video for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day 2020 made. Kirin J Callinan, who tops our list of sexiest people on the planet, just dropped a video for a new song, “Seconds Flatt.” He’s sending it out to all the lovers in the world. You can watch it below. Seconds Flat is also the name of the music production partnership Kirin formed with Mac DeMarco to produce songs for the likes of Julian Casablancas’ The Voidz.

The song “Seconds Flatt” is short, running under two minutes. But as they say, it’s not the size of the boat, it’s the motion of the ocean, and this song will no doubt make your hips sway. Kirin croons sweet nothings over a smooth jazz-infused backing track. It’s likely the title, “Seconds Flatt,” refers to how quickly he threw the song together. The lyrics are as follows:

Happy Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day
You’re beautiful
I hope it’s beautiful
Asymmetrical
Electrical

Happy Valentine’s Day
Vivacious
Flirtatious
Courageous

Happy Valentine’s Day
Cause you’re my valentine
You’re mine
All mine
Every single piece of your perfect puzzle

Happy Valentine’s Day
Everyday of the year
Three six five

I hope you feel alive on this
Valentine’s Day

As for the video, Parisian photographer Clement PJ Schneider shot the B&W visual on the streets of Paris. First, we see Kirin hanging out in front of a sex shop. Then he’s wandering around Boulevard de Clichy and trying to bum smokes. It ends with him sitting in a desk chair in the middle of the sidewalk. He can make the most mundane activities and objects so effing sexy.

In other Kirin news, besides raising money for Australian brush fire relief and dropping epic video, like the one for “The Homosexual,” the Aussie musician recently performed with the Growlers at The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. The band played the final shows at the venue before Richard Branson demolishes it to erect one of his Virgin Hotels. Kirin got to know the Growlers pretty well. He joined them on their Beach Goth Tour in 2018.
