NPR’s Ask Me Another Gets ‘Wet Hot’ for SummerStage

NPR Ask Me Another SummerStage Wet Hot American SummerComedian Ophira Eisenberg is packing up her bag of brainteasers and heading uptown to Central Park to host a special free SummerStage edition of NPR’s Ask Me Another. She will be joined by her usual rotating cast of puzzle wizards, and resident Ask Me Another one-man band Jonathan Coulton. Also stopping by will be special VIP guests from Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp. We’re guessing they will be Ubering it over after they introduce the Wet Hot American Summer screening at SummerScreen in Brooklyn.

Usually taped before a live audience at The Bell House in Brooklyn, Ask Me Another is a brainy variety hour that mixes up trivia, comedy, and music. For the SummerStage show, the questions will follow a SummerStage 30th Anniversary theme. 80s-tinged Americana band DeLorean Sisters are also set to perform.

True to past shows, Ask Me Another encourages audience participation, so be sure you wear your thinking cap. Doors at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield open at 7pm and the fun gets underway at 8pm.
