Watch the Lyric Video for The Strokes’ “Drag Queen”, ‘Future Present Past’ out Now

In celebration of the release of their new EP Future Present Past, which dropped at midnight, The Strokes have shared a lyric video for track “Drag Queen”. You can watch it below.

The video, which has a very retro-futuristic aesthetic, is the handiwork of Argentinian graphic designer Gustavo Torres aka Kidmograph. Torres has worked in the past with the likes of Kanye West, Frank Ocean and A-Trak. In fact, the video he created for A-Trak and Lex Luger’s “Who Wanna Play” is sampled in The Strokes’ new video.

The release of Future Present Past was fêted this evening at No Room (#‎NoRoomNYC‬), the band’s pop-up store in NYC. A live stream of the action was posted on the band’s Facebook page. No Room remains open through the weekend.

Future Present Past is available for now at Cult Records website. The band play a headlining set at the sold out Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City tonight.
