Eric André is full of surprises today. With a record release on the way, Blarf, who we are 99.99% sure is Eric, has shared an insane video for album track “Badass Bullshit Benjamin Buttons Butthole Assassin.” Check it out below. The single is off Cease & Desist, which drops June 26 via Stones Throw. In addition to the video, Eric announced he is adding a Brooklyn stop to his Legalize Everything tour. The show will be at the Kings Theatre on Sunday, September 15.

The video for “Badass Bullshit Benjamin Buttons Butthole Assassin” is a four-minute visual assault. A masterfully edited montage of clips, everything and the kitchen sink has been packed in, including dancing babies, Martha Stewart, Dr. Phil singing with Good Charlotte, Obama, and Richard Pryor. It’s a hit parade of moving image stimuli. As for the music, it’s a mystical blend of free jazz and afrofuturism. Blarf’s LP Cease & Desist is available for pre-order now. Tickets for Blarf at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles on July 6 are still available.

As for Eric’s Legalize Everything stand-up tour, tickets are moving fast. Eric sized-up a few venues during the European leg. And, with the Beacon Theater close to selling out, the comedian has added Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, September 15, as previously mentioned. Tickets are on sale Friday, June 21 at 10am local time. Eric is also taking tour stop requests. If your city is not on the list, hit him up. He may add it. Eric’s updated tour dates are below.
