Skaters added to Panache Booking & New York Night Train’s Valentine’s Day Planned Parenthood Party

There have been a couple tweaks to the lineup of Panache Booking and New York Night Train’s Valentine’s Day Planned Parenthood Benefit and Dance: Village of Love. The party, which is still set to go down on Sunday, February 14 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, now features an appearance by Brooklyn’s own post-punk rockers Skaters. The other change is that Kevin Morby won’t be performing solo. But, before you freak out, the troubadour is still on the bill, he’s just opting to re-team with Cassie Ramone (Vivian Girls) to perform as BABIES. The group have been on indefinite hiatus while Morby and Ramone have been pursuing their solo projects, so this a bit of a coup. The night continues to be topped by king crooner Mac DeMarco. Below you’ll find the revised line-up in order of appearance.

Skaters, who split with WB Records at the end of 2015, are going the DIY route and plan on releasing a new album in 2016. They have already leaked a few songs. You can check out “Head On To Nowhere” and watch the video for “Mental Case” below.

For those who need a refresher on BABIES, below are a couple of samples. Included is the video for “Mess Me Around” off of their 2012 album Our House on the Hill, as well as an outtake from the same album, “Got Old,” which was released last year.

In addition to the killer the lineup, the event also features a raffle. Tickets are surprisingly still available, you can grab them here, $20 in adv/$25 dos.
