Avoid the Lines, See ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ at a Reserved Seating Theater

For those that want to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens this weekend, but don’t want to deal with the lines, we suggest purchasing tickets online for a theater that offers reserved seating. There are quite a few options in this camp around New York City and they are listed below.

There are reserved seating theaters that are screening the film in IMAX 3D, 3D and 2D. And based on our research, J.J. Abrams only shot one sequence of the film with IMAX cameras, so if you can’t afford or aren’t able to score a ticket to a theater that screens IMAX, you won’t be missing out on that much. Also, budget-conscious individuals who think they’ll save a few dollars going with the 2D option may want to check first. We found that some theaters charge the same price for both 3D and 2D.
